Crashing Brain Waves

A place where I can unload random thoughts, photography, quotes, notes, intermittent journal notes, and other randomness. In other words... My Crashing Brain Waves that bring forth an ecclectic collection of thoughts, feelings, opinions, and visions.

Ask me anything, well just about anything...
Nothing can wear you out like caring about people.

~S.E. Hinton

Well, not everyone followed the laws their parents laid out for them, and not all who rebelled found it to be fun in the end. With freedom, comes responsibility and accountability.

I like it when somebody gets excited about something. It’s nice.

~J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye

I love people. Everybody. I love them, I think, as a stamp collector loves his collection. Every story, every incident, every bit of conversation is raw material for me. My love’s not impersonal yet not wholly subjective either. I would like to be everyone, a cripple, a dying man, a whore, and then come back to write about my thoughts, my emotions, as that person. But I am not omniscient. I have to live my life, and it is the only one I’ll ever have. And you cannot regard your own life with objective curiosity all the time…

~Sylvia Plath

Quote from the movie ” I’ve Loved You So Long”

“The worst prison is the death of one’s child. You never get out of it,”

Says Juliette Fontaine (Kristin Scott Thomas) to her younger sister Lea (Elsa Zylberstein).

Another New Day today

Today is another new day. The day after yesterday. The day before tomorrow. A new day for more dreams, new goals, things to learn, mistakes to make and make amends. Today may be the only day that you have left. what are you going to do with your new day? Live only for today, because tomorrow’s new day has not arrived. ~emg

Today I’m going to start living my life for me. I’m going to do the things that make me happy. I’m going to work on being the person I really am and not the person others want me to be. ~emg

Some things are best left unsaid to prevent hurting or disappointing someone who is oblivious to what’s going on, because they just don’t get it. Nor do I think they want to get it.

It occurred to me
that all I ever think of
is you, only you.
